TR Pottery - Special Events for Summer 2010

TR Pottery is located in downtown Fish Creek, the heart of the Door County peninsula. We are open daily and our kilns are fired many times each week, so new work is always in the gallery. Please visit us to see pottery from the spring firing of our anagama wood-fired kiln.

June, July, August: Mondays 1:00-3:00 - Wheel Throwing Demonstrations

Tony will be demonstrating his techniques and will be available to discuss his work and answer questions.

Meet Tony and Renée

We designed our shop with a large, open window connecting the gallery to the studio. This allows visitors the opportunity to interact with Tony and Renée as they work and to view all stages of production from clay preparation, throwing, trimming, decorating and glazing to the loading and unloading of the kilns. We feel that the connection with the potter is as just as important as the pot itself. We are in the shop daily to meet people and to talk about our work. Not only should people feel good about our pots, but they should also feel good about the makers.

Our Pottery

The work produced at our pottery is based on the principle that simple, attractive and well-made items are the ones used most frequently as a part of daily life. With this in mind, our pottery is affordably priced, fired to stoneware temperatures for durability, and is food-safe. All tableware can be used in a conventional oven, microwave and dishwasher.

Our work is made by the two of us and sold in our working pottery studio and gallery located on Main Street in Fish Creek, Door County, Wisconsin. Our work focuses on traditional forms: pitchers, bowls, mugs, platters, vases, candle holders and many other shapes. The comfort and simple elegance of our designs invites people to interact with each piece, encouraging them to find the one that is uniquely special for them. Please purchase pottery from our online shop or stop by when you visit Door County to chat with us and hold a piece of pottery. We know that you will enjoy the experience.
